The Differentiated Planning Assistant™ is a new software application that will be available beginning Summer 2010. Designed for teachers of all subject areas, this tool marries the principles of backwards planning to differentiated instruction for the purpose of unit or project planning. The clean interface allows teachers to toggle back and forth through objectives setting, assessment design and activity development with ease. It allows teachers to share libraries of concepts and skills, identify target groups of students, and track coverage across the entire unit with one click.

Concept Construxions® is a fully articulated and patent-pending instructional system for teaching academic vocabulary. The system articulates academic vocabulary learning through the grades (vertically) and across the curriculum (horizontally) using a patent-pending color-shape system. The visual cues and kinesthetic nature of our manipulatives build a fully-fashioned yet intuitive and flexible system for districts, schools and individual classrooms. As a supplemental tool, it was designed to be easily adapted to changing standards, textbooks and curriculum.

The Individualized Learning Assistant™ is low-tech classroom data system for schools who are not yet PDA-ready across their staff but still want to have data-driven conversations about students using more than mere test scores. Designed to log data useful to teaching and learning in real-time (no data entry after class!), the tool can be used flexibly for a variety of purposes--within a single classroom, across a Grade Team, or throughout a school.
