Catherine
Saldutti
is a proud graduate of a New Jersey public school. There she began
to hold educators in high esteem, and to champion quality education
for all. Her studies in science and in graduate education courses
at Stanford University made her aware of the complex issues in education
policy, but she wanted to roll up her sleeves and teach for herself.
She received her Master's Degree from Harvard Graduate School of
Education, and proceeded to teach in inner-city schools in Boston,
San Francisco and Attleboro, MA before founding EduChange, Inc.
in New York City.
Over
the years, Catherine has served as a teacher, administrator, professional
development provider, curriculum developer, researcher, program
evaluator, and standards specialist. In these various roles, she
has gained valuable insights into "what works" in schools, classrooms,
museums and other learning centers. She has the rare ability to
bridge research and practice, to work with a diverse group of people
from various backgrounds, to set desirable goals and then attain
them, and to achieve measurable results.
